Since retirement, John and I have ‘focused’ on our interest in photography. I am now the photographer for Hilton Head Lifelong Learning, John works with the Heritage Library, and we work together on photo restoration.
Personally, I love the photo restoration work the most. I understand the joy of sharing family photos and the memories and stories they inspire. One of my personal favorites is a photo of my dad in his late 80s, bemused with a computer screen. I can’t explain it, but it almost brings me to tears.
